Whether this fits
OpsWRX suits an owner-led business whose growth has outpaced the habits that got it here. Recurring mistakes, unclear handoffs, overloaded managers, knowledge trapped in particular people, and an owner who is still the default answer to everything.
What it asks of you
- Time with your people
An hour or so with everyone who does the work. Not a survey, a conversation, and it has to be safe for them to be honest in.
- Access to what already exists
The systems, the numbers and the processes you have. Most of the first month is reading what is already true.
- A willingness to be wrong
Some of what you believe about why things go wrong will not survive the interviews. That is the point of doing them.
- One owner per change
Shared effort is fine. Shared ownership is not. Every improvement needs a name against it and the authority to deliver.
When it is the wrong thing
- You want a dashboard
If the goal is to see numbers rather than change what produces them, buy reporting software. It is cheaper and it will do that better.
- The decision is already made
If a particular person is already the answer, this will take ninety days to disagree with you in writing.
- Nobody can spare the time
A sprint run around everybody’s availability becomes a document nobody reads. Better to wait for a quarter where it can have attention.
The first conversation
An hour, with you. What must improve, what still requires you personally, what already works well, what you have tried before, and what would make the next ninety days worth doing. No deck.
You come out of it with a straight answer about whether this is the right thing for your business right now, including when it is not.
